About the project
About
An open field notebook for syntropic agriculture.
What this is
Sintropia is a public hub around syntropic agriculture in the Ernst Götsch tradition. It gathers in one place, with sources cited, four things:
-
Plant catalog
Each species annotated with stratum, Götsch successional stage, Brazilian biomes, Köppen climate classes, and ecological functions.
-
Method
Syntropic vocabulary in five concepts: stratum, succession, biomass, pruning, and biomes.
-
Glossary
Every term in the catalog filters, explained in one sentence.
-
Articles
Principles, management, and ecological foundations, in short form.
Principles
Open and free
No paywall. The catalog, glossary, method, and articles are public for anyone to consult; an account is only needed to design guilds.
Cited sources
Every plant attribute has a traceable origin — book, paper, or technical sheet. When a source is missing, we say so.
Complementary
It doesn't replace an experienced mentor, a good course, or time in the field. It adds to your study.
Guild planner
NewThe tool to design lines and guilds on top of the catalog is live: pick species by stratum, succession, and biome, adjust spacings, and see the design come together — profile, planting plan, and timeline. Create an account to get started.
