dwarf early-bearing cashew
Anacardium occidentale L.
Family: Anacardiaceae · Genus: Anacardium
ccp 76 cashew
Embrapa dwarf early-bearing cashew clones — 4–6 m height vs. 8–15 m of common cashew. First fruits at 18–24 months (vs. 4 years for the common cashew). CCP 76 is the most widespread clone in NE Brazil. BRS 189 was selected from CCP 1001 × CCP 76 progenies. Occupy the high stratum in syntropic systems (not emergent) and fit dense plantings.
