🪴 Cultivation
Deciduous and heliophytic; likes deep, well-drained sandy-to-clay soils with pH 4.5–7.0 and is hardy on poor soils — widely used in Cerrado reforestation and degraded-land recovery. Slow-growing (over 2 years to reach 3 m). Once established it resists both drought and temporary flooding. Seeds need no dormancy-breaking; they germinate in 10–60 days.
📅 Phenology
Flowering months: October, November, December
Fruiting months: April, May, June
